The One November Night Seville's Club Calendar Is Open to Every Neighbor

"Think concert in the park, Seville style. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets, stake out your spot on the Turf... Members and non-members welcome."

That line comes from the November listing for the 2026 Charity Classic on the Seville Golf & Country Club calendar. Most of the club's year runs for members and their guests. On Saturday, November 14, the biggest event of its fall is open to anyone who buys a ticket, including the households in Seville who never joined.

The rest of this month at the club, from the fairways reopening to Thanksgiving morning, sits on either side of that one open evening. Here's how November fits together if you live here.

The greens come back first

This year the course closed for overseeding in early October. The Arizona Golf Association's 2026 overseed schedule lists Seville as closed on October 5 and reopening on November 1, 2026. That's close to four weeks of new winter grass growing in. On the Thursday this post goes up, the course still has a few days to go. It reopens on Sunday, November 1.

The timing sets up the month. The Turf and the fairways come back just ahead of the club's biggest public-facing night. The Charity Classic falls two weeks after the reopening, while the new grass is still fresh.

A golf tournament that became a concert

The Charity Classic has run at Seville before, but in a different format. A December 8, 2018 listing on ALS.net describes the Seville Charity Classic as a golf event. It supported Augie's Quest to Cure ALS, the ClubCorp Employee Partner Foundation and a local partner, the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona, and said 100% of funds raised went to those charities. The January 18, 2020 edition was billed as the Seville Charity Classic Golf Tournament and Extravaganza. That year the local partner was Inspire & Achieve, which the listing said had given $123,000 directly to the Seville community since 2017.

Both were built around golf. The 2026 version is built around a lawn instead: a live concert, a BBQ buffet, family activities on the basketball court and an aerial fireworks show. The format change is what makes the non-member welcome work. A neighbor who has never played the course can bring a folding chair and have a good night.

According to Invited, the company that operates the club, its Charity Classic fundraisers benefit the Invited Foundation and a local nonprofit. The club's 2026 listing doesn't name this year's local partner or the band, so ask the club when you register.

November 14, hour by hour

The listing gives a clear timeline for the evening on the Turf near the tennis courts:

  1. 4:00 p.m. Doors open. Bring your own chairs and blankets and claim a spot.
  2. 5:00 p.m. Dinner from the BBQ buffet.
  3. 5:30 p.m. The live concert starts.
  4. 7:00 p.m. The aerial fireworks show closes the night.

Tickets come in two tiers, and one price changes before the event.

Ticket Price What's included
General admission, adult $70 per person GA wristband, BBQ buffet, non-alcoholic drinks, two drink tickets for beer, seltzer or wine
General admission, kids 12 and under $15 BBQ buffet and non-alcoholic drinks
VIP table for 10 $800 through October 31, then $1,000 from November 1 Reserved table and seating, two bottles of wine, unlimited beer and seltzer for the table, BBQ buffet

The VIP numbers need a little arithmetic. Five tables are offered in total. Children count toward the 10 seats, and anyone past 10 needs a general admission ticket and their own seating. At the early price, a full table works out to $80 a seat, $10 more than an adult GA ticket, and that $10 buys reserved seating and unlimited beer and seltzer. From November 1, a seat at a full table costs $100. The early price ends Saturday, two days after this post goes up. If you were thinking about splitting a table with neighbors, this weekend is the time to decide.

Signing up works a little differently from a normal ticket site. You register through the club's calendar, and the club then emails you a personal link to buy your GA tickets or your table.

Even if you don't go, it helps to know the fireworks are scheduled for 7 p.m. If you have a dog that dislikes loud booms, plan the evening walk around that time.

The rest of the month runs inside the membership line

After the 14th, the November calendar goes back to the club's usual rules. In its membership FAQ, the club says dining is for members and their invited guests, and that select ticketed events are announced in advance. So when a Grove listing says play is "open to all dining guests," it means everyone eating in The Grove, and The Grove itself is a members-and-guests room.

Here's how the rest of the posted November and early December calendar lines up against that rule.

Date Event Where Cost Who it's for
Tue., Nov. 3, 6 p.m. Bingo Night The Grove Free with dinner, $5 Kids Game Night Dining guests
Fri., Nov. 6, 6:30–8 p.m. Dinks & Drinks, Pickleball 101 at 6 Pickleball courts $10 per player Club calendar event
Fri., Nov. 20, 5–9 p.m. Prime Rib Night The Grove Not listed Dining guests, reservations recommended
Tue., Nov. 24, 6 p.m. Trivia Night The Grove Free with dinner, $5 Kids Game Night Dining guests
Thu., Nov. 26, 7:30 a.m. start Turkey Trot 5K The Roundabout One canned food item Club calendar event
Tue., Dec. 1, 6 p.m. Bingo Night The Grove Free with dinner Dining guests
Fri., Dec. 4, 6:30–8 p.m. Dinks & Drinks Pickleball courts $10 per player Club calendar event

The club's own listing calls Prime Rib Night a member favorite that "sells out every time," and it asks guests to call The Grove at (480) 279-3000 ahead of time. The bingo and trivia nights come with a Kids Game Night at the Kids' Club for $5 a child, 6 to 8 p.m. Trivia's kids' night is for ages 5 and up, capped at 10 children, and needs a reservation.

Thanksgiving morning at the Roundabout

The Turkey Trot is the event most likely to send neighbors looking for an entry form. It checks in at 7 a.m. and starts at 7:30 a.m. from the Roundabout. You can run, walk or ride at your own pace, with fruit and muffins beforehand and a mimosa at the finish. The entry fee is one canned food item for donation. Unlike the Charity Classic, the listing doesn't say whether non-members can enter. If you don't belong to the club, call before you dig a can out of the pantry.

The same listing also covers the rest of the holiday. The Grove is closed all day on Thanksgiving, and the club closes at noon. Anyone hoping for a club Thanksgiving dinner will need another plan, because none is on the posted calendar.

When the holiday plans head outside the gates

For the rest of the season, the public events within a short drive of Seville are run by the towns and by event operators rather than the club, so anyone can go.

  • Gilbert's Water Tower Lighting, Monday, November 30, 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Water Tower Plaza, per the Town of Gilbert.
  • Arizona Christmas Lights, a walk-through display at Valor Christian Center, 3015 E. Warner Rd., from November 27 to December 27. Its site lists regular nights at $12.95 per adult and $9.95 per child plus tax, select drone-show nights at $14.95 and $12.95, and closures on December 7, 8, 14, 15 and 25.
  • Queen Creek Hometown Christmas at Queen Creek Town Center, 21802 S. Ellsworth Rd. The Town of Queen Creek lists a tree lighting on Friday, December 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. and a parade on Saturday, December 5, at 10 a.m.

Queen Creek's tree lighting falls on the same Friday evening as Seville's December 4 Dinks & Drinks on the pickleball courts, so a family split between the two will have to pick one.

The club's welcome on the 14th is a good chance to meet the neighbors you usually just wave to. If you'd like to talk about how Seville's calendar, club and streets fit together for your household, or you just want a neighbor's take on the area, I'm happy to help. Hardison Home Sales is a few minutes away. Schedule a free consultation, and if you're heading to the Turf with a lawn chair on November 14, I hope to see you there.
